Hudson’s Bay Co. has a proud legacy of supporting Canadian amateur athletes. From the first time our Canadian Olympic winter athletes wore Hudson’s Bay Company outfits in 1936 to its ongoing fundraising efforts in support of Canada’s Olympic and Paralympic teams, our company is fully committed to supporting the hopes and dreams of Canada’s amateur athletes.

- Competed in the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Summer Games, finishing the year ranking 4th internationally in the 1500m and 5000m events
- Became the Canadian record holder for the 5000m in 2007, with a time of 9:58.13
- Canadian Champion and Gold medalist in the 800m, 1500m, and 5000m at the National Championships in Windsor, Ontario

- Racing at the Olympics was a great experience. I didn't get the result that I wanted, but I was happy with the performance my team had and that's all I can ask for! We did our best.
- Graduating from the University of Michigan with my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Movement Science in the spring of 2006. I was rowing for Michigan at the time too.
- I have been working with kids with Autism since June 2003 and it is a real passion of mine. I continue to do this work while I train.
